Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on PastpaperLM — subscription plans, PAYG credit packs, and marketplace purchases — processed through PayHere. All refunds are handled manually by our support team on a case-by-case basis.
1. How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@pastpaperlm.com with the subject line "Refund Request". Include:
- Your registered email address.
- The date of purchase and the amount paid (in LKR).
- The PayHere order or transaction ID from your payment confirmation email.
- A brief description of why you are requesting a refund.
We review every request individually and will respond within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method via PayHere and typically take 7–14 business days to appear depending on your bank.
2. Subscription Plans
Subscription plans (Basic, Flash, Pro, Max, Ultimate) are 30-day access passes that activate immediately on payment. Because access is granted instantly, we do not offer refunds as a matter of course — but we will review your situation fairly if something went wrong.
Situations we are likely to approve:
- You were charged twice for the same plan.
- A technical failure on our end blocked you from accessing features for an extended period.
- You contacted us within 24 hours of purchase and genuinely have not used any paid features.
3. PAYG Credit Packs
Wallet credits are delivered instantly and never expire. If you have not used any of the credits from a pack you purchased, contact us within 48 hours and we will consider a refund. Once credits have been partially or fully consumed, they are non-refundable.
4. Marketplace Purchases
Marketplace purchases grant access to digital past-paper content immediately. Because the content is delivered on purchase, returns are not offered once access has been granted. If you were charged but access was not granted due to an error on our side, contact us within 7 days and we will make it right.
5. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If your payment failed, no charge was made. If you see a pending charge, it will typically drop off within a few business days — check with your bank. If you were genuinely double-charged, contact us with both transaction IDs and we will refund the duplicate immediately.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved faster through our support team. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation.
